1)Thanks for your time Hide, how do you feel about this interview, coming out from Chile?
Hiderou : I’m surprised to hear from people who live in distant places know about me. Despite leaving the music scene many years ago .I am very happy to know this, thank you very much.
2)In which province of japan you were born? Where do you live now?
Hiderou : I was born and raised in Tokyo, Asakusa. I live in Tokyo not far away from there .
3) What made you think about being a musician? What can you tell about your musical influences?
Hiderou : The chance of this was boom bands. BOOWY, Buck-Tick and X Japan on his debut when I was a student and I resptaba an opportunity I thought I wanted to be by her side .BOOWY Last Budoukan in their gigs, X at Shibuya Public Hall are still unforgettable concerts from my memories .
4) What aspects of the visual kei scene captured your atention to the point of the desire to be part of it?
Hiderou : Yet this does not, of men with makeup not assimilated into society, as is David Bowie, David Sylvian and Pete Burn followers were accepted without problems. Then I wanted to be as well.
5) what was the perception of the society about both of the musicians and the fans of the Visual kei scene in the 90’s?
Hiderou : I think I can not deny that the visual kei was treated as a comedy or display socially speaking .There was a recognition that too much makeup or dressed bands are lower than the orthodox rock band that needs no makeup.
6)before of Baiser had you had experience in another band? or Baiser was you first band?
Hiderou : Before Baiser band i played with an band named Deflower .
7)How as you met of the Deflowers members?
Hiderou : Deflower was formed with classmates.
8) whom was the member of deflower? Under what record label were? They amounted to release some work?
Hiderou : I was the leader anyway (hahahah label, 2 tapes were released demos without label.)
9) why Deflower finished or broke up ?
Hiderou : I leave it when I joined Baiser.
10)how you meet the others baiser band members?
Hiderou : I met Baiser when I went to see several bands in concert.
11) Do you remember why the band chose the name Baiser?
Hiderou : I do not know the origin of the name Baiser, and that Yukari use. 12) What was your first concert with baiser? How much was the number of people at concerts?
Hiderou : The audience at the concert livehouse Lazyways Koenji. I think it was less than 100 people. 13) In what songs we appreciate your composition or authorship in the work of study Baiser?
Hiderou : I participated in all the songs on guitar and vocals. I wrote a song which forget the title. 14) Remember any special concert or show together another band that you would like to share?

Hiderou : Because Yukari was not ambitious.

17) At that time, you were doing music only or you were working out in other jobs?
Hiderou : As soon as I leave Baiser. one month. This was the first live when I began my musical activities with Jagged. 18) How was the thing you go joined JAGGED LITTIE PILL?
Hiderou : Kazaa was in Baiser battery support. I played with the JLP Kazsa band and bassist Haiji too. 19)Which records you appear withJAGGED LITTIE PILL?

20) Why you leave JAGGED LITTIE PILL?
Hiderou : Memory about exhaustion in musical activities. But I do not remember why members at that moment in time that Ryoya retired, waiting for a new member.
21) What could you tell us of The Killer? who made up the band?
Hiderou : I Dont want to think about it because it was a period where I lost control. 22) And who were your bandmates in Swallowtail?
Hiderou : All members of baiser after leaving the band. I was a guitar of support with the strength of all members, but especially Shaisuke. 23) Why you decided to get away from the music scene?
Hiderou : The reason was because I thought it was too absurd that money could change several situations in the bands around at the time. 24) How the events of the Shaisuke death? You went to the funeral of Shaisuke?
Hiderou : Shaisuke was like my little brother His death was very unfortunate and if Attended His funeral. 25) Do you think to come back to the music scene again someday?

Hiderou : It has established itself as a system currently scene. But I do not regret not being there, because also the Japanese music scene is rotten.

Hiderou : in nowadays recently i’m going as audience to ZiZ GIGS .

Todavia esto no de los hombres con maquillaje no se asimilaba en la sociedad ,

Hide : Pienso que no puedo negar que el visual kei fue tratado como una comedia o exhibición socialmente hablando .

Hide : La razón por la que fue porque me pareció que era demasiado absurdo que el dinero podría cambiar varias situaciones alrededor de bandas en ese momento .

Hide : Shaisuke fue como mi hermano menor su muerte fue muy desafortunada y si asistí a su funeral .

Hide : Se ha establecido como un sistema de escena actualmente . Pero no me arrepiento de no estar alli , porque también la escena musical japonesa esta podrida .

Hide : En mis recientes días yo frecuentemente asisto a conciertos de ZiZ banda de mi viejo amigo Kozi .

1)Thanks for your time and how do you feel in your time of being interviewed by a South American magazine?
Sophia : I feel really happy and proud to reconnect with a part of myself. I was born in Venezuela and although I don’t speak the language, I’ve always had affection for my birthplace. I’m looking forward to visit South America in the near future
2)Since when have you been in the music world and so far
Sophia :As a professional since 2010 with BLOOD STAIN CHILD. I’ve been studying and playing music all my life, though, but I came out of the closet only recently *laughs* .
3) What can you tell us about your experience with jame still working there ?? What is your opinion about of the diffusion of Japanese bands today?
Sophia : When I used to work for JaME in 2005, we were like 20 people in Greece listening to Visual Kei and even less who knew more than 5 bands. I was crazy about VK, so I wanted to spread the word everywhere.That’s why I created the first community in Greece, through my J-music events in Thessaloniki and Athens. Now J-rock and Lolita or Harajuku street clothing are something you can see on the street sometimes, but back then nobody wore the clothes or knew what the music was about. So I feel proud I was the one who started it all, on an official basis.
Japanese bands today…there is a wave of Visual Kei revival, who actually have some quality in their music, but mostly it’s just copy bands of copy bands. It’s really sad. You see a band and it’s really easy to understand who they’re copying. They don’t even try to hide it. I still like a few new bands, though. There’s still good music in Visual Kei.
4) What can you tell us about your theory or process your preparation on your aesthetic? Where do you base that influences governing or under for it?
Sophia : I believe in the power of beauty and I admire beauty, therefore aesthetics are a big part of what I represent. Of course aesthetics without brains is as useless and boring as food without salt *laughs*. A balance of the two is ideal. I’m clearly influenced by retro European aesthetics and asian/anime aesthetics. Cute, modest, romantic, elegant, as opposed to the raw, vulgar and over-sexualised image, which leaves nothing to the imagination . That’s what the western entertainment industry has cultivated.
I don’t find naked women shocking. I don’t find them special. Every woman has a pair of breasts, two legs, two arms…it’s nothing special. I mean..it used to be revolutionary in the 70s maybe, but now it’s so overdone and people have so much easy sex on theis screens, all around them…they have seen every kind of sexual experimentation, style, or sexy image, that it really doesn’t stand out anymore. It just degrades the women who use it in my opinion. It’s fine being comfortable with your body, but transforming yourself into jerk off material for men is disrespectful for the female sex, the way I see it. I choose to dress for myself, even if my poofy dress makes me look fatter. I love to dress in a cute, fairytale style and feel pretty for myself, as opposed to sexually desirable for others. I want to be an example of self- respect for young people.
5) In chronological order, could you tell us that bands have worked and that led you to work with them?
Sophia : I found BSC on Myspace, when I was still working as a VK Manager/Talent scout. I was helping with overseas promotion in the beginning, but after a year or so, they asked me to join the band, which was a surpise. Soon after joining BSC, I met Intetsu of AYABIE, who asked me to play in their DEATHBIE videoclip. Around the same time I met BSC, I also met MiA, who was still in Toon Factory at the time. After a couple years of knowing each other, I showed him my songs with BSC and he got interested, so I started working with MEJIBRAY since then. My latest work with them, VENOMS.app, was released in august .
Before leaving BSC, my record label had introduced me to a new artist at the time, ZOMBIE SAM and they’d asked me to help him start his career by singing a few songs on his album. So it started out as a favour for my record label, but later I realised that Zombie is a very talented person, so we’ve been working together non-stop since then. He co-produced my album, he plays session guitar in SEASON OF GHOSTS and we also recently established INVICTUS MEDIA, a media company who specialises in Soundtracks, sound design and many other things (www.invictusmedia.org)
6) How you become a member of Blood Stain Child? You still keep contact with members?
Sophia : As I mentioned before, I was working with them and while on a business trip to Japan, I met with Ryu and we hanged out. While talking, he asked me whether I play any instrument and I told him about my musical studies, so he asked for a demo. I immediately received an invitation to join the band, which was a shock for me, because I’d never played music with anybody before. I was too shy. I don’t keep in contact with the members anymore, really. There’s an interview on www.carlbegai.com talking about all the reasons my relationship with BSC ended . Don’t read if you’re not ready for a huge reality slap in the face. I try to live my life without regrets, but sometimes I wonder how the hell I let myself tolerate some situations.
7) Your solo project was born after blood stain child or as a side project at that time?
Sophia : As a side project actually and I was planning on playing only electro-industrial music. Later on, I decided to leave BSC and start my career from 0, so SoG developed into more than a project. It became a band that plays an open-minded mix of genres and caters not only to metalheads or VK fans, but many more people.
8) What are the goals you set out your solo career and how it difference from your musical background?
Sophia : I received both a classical music education but also modern, so I can’t say there’s a huge gap between what I studied and reality, apart from the fact that nowadays I’m very involved in what I do. I don’t just sing, but I also compose and produce. That’s a big difference. I create a complete thing, as opposed to executing a musical composition written by other people. SEASON OF GHOSTS is a motivational project, with eye-opening lyrics and sounds that aim to awaken the audience and have a positive impact on their life. I don’t just play music to play music. I must have an impact. I want my music to help people’s lives to become a little better. That’s success for me.
9) What details could you tell us about the recording of human paradox? Why did you choose to call Human Paradox to your album?
Sophia : The recordings took place in Italy and a bit in Greece. We recorded the album rather fast, but the pre-production took long, because it was my first time doing this, so I was a bit slow. It was worth the pain , though!
Paradox is a Greek word. I wanted to use it to describe the weird human nature. Humans are weird creatures. Our brains are one of the biggest mysteries of the universe. I’ve always been interested in psychology, but my parents wanted me to study Law, soI only studied psychology in my free time. I always found it weird that for example humans choose to love something painful, or someone that hurts them. Humans always desire the things that they cannot have and often they cannot appreciate what they have in their hands. They appreciate it only when they lose it. Human nature is full of tragedies and realising that we are victims of our own emotions, made me come up with the phrase «the human paradox». Sometimes our logic makes no sense, don’t you agree? As creatures, we’re very imperfect and deplorable. Sometimes, when we work together in peace, we create amazing things. But other times, when we fight in a war, we behave lower than the worst beast. This is also the meaning of the song «Beautiful Eternal Things». Whoever created humans certainly had a big sense of sarcasm and a bit of sadism *laughs*
10) How was your participation in Princess Ghibli, how you become part of this? Met the famous Hayao Miyazaki?
Sophia : I have not met Mr. Miyazaki, but I heard from the production team that he was jogging listening to Princess Ghibli, which is a huge honour! *laughs* My record label got involved in that project and Studio Ghibli liked my voice, so they hired me! At the time, I didn’t know those albums would be so popular. I’d be more scared during the recordings *laughs
11) If you could share the stage with any band or artist or band who would it be?
Sophia :
I’ve already shared the stage with D, one of my favourite Japanese bands, so this was a big honour! I’ve also shared the stage with famous female-fronted metal bands, like Anneke, Therion, Delain, Liv Kristine etc I don’t idolise people or bands, so I’ve never thought of sharing the stage with anybody specific, but now that you’re asking….hmmm…Motionless in White would be cool. They’re one of the better new bands out there. As long as the band I’ll play with are nice people and not assholes, I’m fine with it *laughs*.
12) What may you tell us about the music scene in Greece? Some bands that are slated to be on the record label collection of our readers obligation?
Sophia :
Gus G. is the hardest working Greek musician I know and also a good friend. Also Rotting Christ are a classic band that you should not miss. You should also definitely check my brothers bands, The Psalm (ex- Nocturnal Vomit) and Walking Stone Giants!
13) We understand that for your debut went to see fans of Brazil. How do feel about this? you hear stories similes to your person?
Sophia : I always feel thrilled when fans from so far away come to see my shows, so meeting Brazilian fans made me really happy! Thank you for travelling so far for that festival! .
14) You’ve done everything you wanted in music?
Sophia :
Not at all! I still haven’t done much in the USA and I still haven’t composed for a Hollywood soundtrack. Let’s see if I make it in the future!
15) What are your favorite artists?
Sophia :There are too many, but Anathema, The Smashing Pumpkins, Malice Mizer and Lareine are the top for me. I love stuff like Placebo, Depeche Mode and a lot of the 90s Britpop scene and the EBM/Industrial/Synthpop scene .
16) What are your hobbies?
Sophia :
I like psychology and observing people. I also like travelling and taking pictures, cooking and creating my own recipes. I love alternative fashion
and creative styles. I love studying, reading and learning every day. It’s what keeps me young I guess. I have tons of hobbies, really! I love taking care of stray cats, but I see that more like a social service, than a hobby. I do it because I feel connected with the animals and I feel it’s my duty to protect them as much as I can.
17) Do you know anything about Chile and south America?
Sophia :
I know that the countries and the nature there is beautiful, the fans are really supportive AND THE FOOD IS AWESOME! *laughs*
18) What are your plans for 2015?
Sophia :
I’d like to tour and I’m thinking of releasing a remix album of THE HUMAN PARADOX. The way I see it, it would feature many artists. It’s just an idea for now, but I like it! I have a tour manager for South America now, so I hope I can see you guys soon! Also you can expect free songs from me and Zombie. We like doing free download covers for our fans, so we’ll definitely come up with something cool!

2) Desde hace cuanto estas en el mundo de la música y como ha sido la experiencia de haber estado en Jame promocionando músicos y luego estar siendo promocionada con nosotros jajaja ?
Sophia : De forma profesional desde el 2010 con BLOOD STAIN CHILD. Yo he estado estudiando y tocando música toda mi vida , pienso , pero yo salí del closet recientemente . risas .
Cuando yo solía trabajar para JaMe en el 2005 , nosotros fuimos como 20 personas en toda Grecia escuchando Visual kei y aun menos los que conocíamos mas de 5 bandas . Yo estaba loca por VK, entones yo buscaba esparcir la palabra por todos lados . Eso es la causa porque yo cree la primera comunidad en Grecia , a través de eventos de música Japonesa en Thessaloniki y Athenas . Ahora Música japonesa y lolita o Harajuku Street atuendo son algo que tu puedes ver en las calles algunas veces , pero atrás nadie en ese entonces vestía o conocía sobre esto . Entonces yo me siento orgulloso que yo fui uno de los que empezó esto .
Bandas Japonesas de hoy . Allá hay una ola de Revival Vk . que actualmente tienen algo de calidad en su música , pero mayormente son bandas copias . Esto es realmente triste . Tu ves una banda y esto es realmente fácil de conocer a quienes estan imitando . ellos no intentan ocultar . yo todavía gusto de algunas pocas nuevas bandas . allá todavía hay buena música en visual kei .
3) Qué podrías contarnos acerca de tu teoría o el proceso de tu elaboración en tu estética? En que te basas o bajo que influencias rigen para ello?
Sophia : Yo creo en el poder de la belleza y yo admiro la belleza, por consiguiente la estetica es a gran parte que yo represento . De acuerdo estética sin cerebro es un sin sentido y aburrido como la comida sin sal – Risas- . Un balance de 2 es lo ideal . Yo estoy claramente influenciada por el retro europeo estética forma y la estética de Asia / Anime . Bello , modesto , romántico, elegante , opuesto al salvaje , vulgar y sobre sexualizada imagen , que deja nada a la imaginación . Eso es lo que la cultura occidental del entretenimiento ha cultivado . No encuentro mujeres desnudas impactantes. Yo no lo encuentro especial. Cada mujer tiene un par de pechos, dos piernas, dos brazos … no es nada especial. Yo digo..esto solía ser revolucionario en los años 70 tal vez, pero ahora es tan exagerado y la gente tiene mucho sexo fácil en sus pantallas , alrededor de ellos … que han visto todo tipo de experimentación sexual, estilo, o sexy .
imagen, que en realidad no se destacan más. Sólo se degrada a las mujeres que lo utilizan en mi opinión. Está bien estar a gusto con su cuerpo, pero transformarte en material de masturbación para los hombres es una falta de respeto para el sexo femenino, la forma en que lo veo. Elijo vestirme para mí, incluso si mi vestido p me hace parecer más gorda. 4) En orden cronológico, podrías decirnos con que bandas has trabajado y que te llevó a trabajar con todos ellos?
Sophia : Encontré BSC en Myspace, cuando yo todavía estaba trabajando como un VK Manager/buscador de talento . Estaba ayudando a la promoción en el extranjero en el principio, pero después de un año o eso , me pidieron unirme a la banda, que fue una sorpresa. Poco después de unirme a BSC, conocí Intetsu de AYABIE, quien me pidió que tocara en su videoclip DEATHBIE. Por la misma época conocí a BSC, también conocí a Mia, que todavía estaba en Toon Factory en el momento. Después de un par de años de conocerse, le mostré mis canciones con BSC y se interesó, así que empecé a trabajar con MEJIBRAY desde entonces. Mi último trabajo con ellos, VENOMS.app, salio a la venta el mes de agosto!
Antes de salir de BSC, mi disquera me había presentado a un nuevo artista en el momento, ZOMBIE SAM y me había pedido que le ayudara a iniciar su carrera cantando algunas canciones en su álbum. Por lo que comenzó como un favor para mi sello discográfico, pero más tarde me di cuenta que Zombie es una persona con mucho talento, así que hemos estado trabajando juntos sin parar desde entonces. 6) Tu proyecto de solista nació después de blood stain child o como un side project en ese momento ?
Sophia : Como proyecto paralelo realidad y yo estaba pensando en jugar sólo la música electro-industrial. Más tarde, decidí dejar BSC y empezar mi carrera de 0, por lo SoG desarrollado en más de un proyecto. 7) Cuáles son las metas que te has propuesto con tu carrera de solista y en que se diferencia de tu pasado musical ?
Sophia : He recibido tanto una educación en música clásica, pero también moderna, así que no puedo decir que hay una enorme brecha entre lo que estudié y la realidad, aparte del hecho de que hoy en día estoy muy involucrado en lo que hago. Yo no sólo canto, sino que también compongo y produzco . Esa es una gran diferencia. Creo una cosa completa, en oposición a la ejecución de una composición musical escrito por otras personas. SEASON OF GHOSTS es un proyecto de motivación, con letras reveladoras y sonidos que tienen como objetivo despertar la audiencia y tener un impacto positivo en su vida. 8)Qué detalles podrías contarnos de la grabación de human paradox ? Por que elegiste llamar Human Paradox a tu album ?
Sophia : Las grabaciones tuvieron lugar en Italia y un poco en Grecia. Grabamos el álbum bastante rápido, pero la pre-producción tomamos mucho, porque era mi primera vez haciendo esto, así que era un poco lento. Valió la pena el dolor, sin embargo! Paradox es una palabra griega. Quería utilizarlo para describir la naturaleza humana raro. Los seres humanos son criaturas extrañas. Nuestros cerebros son uno de los mayores misterios del universo. Siempre he estado interesado en la psicología, pero mis padres querían que estudiara Derecho, por lo que sólo estudié psicología en mi tiempo libre. 10) Si pudiese compartir escenario con alguna banda o artista, quien o que banda sería?
Sophia : Yo ya he compartido el escenario con D, una de mis bandas favoritas japonesas, así que esto fue un gran honor! También he compartido escenario con bandas de metal femenino , como Anneke, Therion, Delain, Liv Kristine etc Yo no idolatro personas o bandas, así que nunca he pensado en compartir el escenario con alguien específico, pero ahora que usted está pidiendo …. hmmm … Motionless in White estaría bien. 11) Qué podrías contarnos de la escena musical de Grecia ? Algunas bandas que debiesen estar en la coleccion discografica de nuestros lectores por obligacion ?
Sophia :Gus G. es el músico griego más trabajador que conozco y también un buen amigo. También Rotting Christ es una banda clásica que no debe perderse. También debe comprobar definitivamente mis bandas hermanas, The Psalm (ex- Nocturnal Vomit) y Walking Stone Giants! .
12) Tenemos entendido que para tu debut fueron a verte fans de brasil que sientes al respecto de esto ? has conocido historias símiles hacia tu persona ?
Sophia : Siempre me siento emocionado cuando los fans de tan lejos vienen a ver mis programas, por lo que el cumplimiento de los aficionados brasileños que me hizo muy feliz! Gracias por viajar tan lejos para ese festival a usted! .

Sophia : Hay demasiados, pero Anathema, The Smashing Pumpkins, Malice Mizer y Lareine son la parte superior para mí. Me encanta cosas como Placebo, Depeche Mode y un montón de los años 90 de la escena Britpop y la escena EBM / Industrial / Synthpop como VNV Nation.
15) Dejando de lado un poco el aspecto musical, cuáles son tus pasatiempos?
Sophia : Me gusta la psicología y observar a la gente . También me gusta viajar y tomar fotografías, cocinar y crear mis propias recetas. Me encanta la moda alternativa y estilos creativos. Me encanta estudiar, leer y aprender cada día. Es lo que me mantiene joven supongo. Tengo un montón de aficiones, de verdad! Me encanta cuidar gatos callejeros, pero veo que más como un servicio social, que un hobby. Lo hago porque me siento conectado con los animales y siento que es mi deber de proteger a ellos tanto como me sea posible.

17) cuales serán los planes para el 2015 ?
Sophia :Me gustaría viajar y estoy pensando en la liberación de un álbum de remixes de THE HUMAN PARADOX. A mi modo de ver, que contaría con muchos artistas.
