1) Hello , Saori how you feel being interviewed by a little country from latino america like chile?
Saori : I feel very happy about it. I was surprised when I saw that you had my photo book on Facebook and that made me realize that we really live in an Internet society.
2) Since which year you are taking pictures?
Saori : 1984
3) are you an autodidact photograph or you studyied photography?
Saori :By myself. I had a friend who was a photographer and at the beginning, He taught me a lot.
4)Who were your inspirations for being a photograph and what motivates you?
Saori : When I started taking photos, there was never a time where I was influenced by a person. I was doing things like designing clothes at the time and I was drawn to fashion more than music just when punk was becoming popular in Japan. I bought a camera because I wanted to document it.
5) Always taked pictures or also did interviews ?
Saori :My main job was taking photos for photoshoots. But I did interview TAIJI (B) of X JAPAN for X’s book in the past. When Fool’s Mate had a TV show, I interviewed some artists. In regards to being the one who was interviewed, I was interviewed in Luna Sea’s book as someone who was involved [in making the book.].
6) Before photographing musicians you took other photographs? (Animals, advertising, clothing) .
Saori :
ri: I only took photos related to music (as well as voice actors) right from the start. I was a costume designer prior to taking photos after all, as I mentioned before.
7) What was the first band you photographed?
Saori : Alien Sex Fiend when they first came to Japan .
8) What was the photoshoot do you enjoy doing?
Saori :
Saori: I enjoyed taking photos of my favorite facial expressions on artists’ faces on stage. Shoots that evoked an instantaneous reaction due to special effects onstage.
9) What was the artist with whom you had difficulties in performing your job?
Saori : None .
10) Who were your favorite bands?
Saori :X (X JAPAN as of now), Luna Sea amongst others. But these two are the top.
11) What type of camera do you use and which is your favorite?
Saori : Back in the era of film, I used the Minolta (35 mm) for live shoots. In the studio, the Mamiya (6×7). And I use Nikon digital camera now.
12) What do you think are the differences between the current music scene in comparison to the 80s?
Saori :
In the 80s, it felt as though people were trying to aim for their own individual style (music, clothes and such) that was never seen before. Now? I don’t know. I’m not really involved so I can’t really explain it. But I do think «anything goes» and there isn’t fun in that.
13) What differences do you find in the photography of current artists compared to previous times?
Saori : I don’t take photos of artists now.
14) What magazines hace you worked for and until when?
Saori : I took photos for «333» and «Motto2» magazine until last year.
15) are you currently still working as a photographer, where can we see your work?
Saori :
currently I have not done photo shoots.
16)Where did came the idea of release the photobook named Favorites?
Saori :
Hide by X at the time proposed the idea to Fool’s Mate’s chief editor. As the title suggests, I had the idea to put in photos of my favourite artists from the start.
17)Do you have more books of your works or Only Favorites-book ?
Saori: This is the only one that’s done by me. The others are through the artists.
18)What about you are dedicate to nowadays?
Saori: I want to nothing to be left undone whilst I’m still alive. I also think about what I can do from now on.
19)What can you tell about your hobbies likes music tastes?
Saori : Bauhaus is the starting point and there is nothing that can top that.
20)What are your plans for 2016?
Saori : I do many trivial tasks . It’s almost June so half the year is basically done though.
21)Some message for your readers to end the interview?
Saori :
Saori: I want to thank you for taking interest in Japanese artists. I want you to not only care about music but also the things your FAVORITE. And natural resources of the earth,too.

Saori : Yo estoy contenta sobre esto . Yo me sorprendi cuando yo vi que tenia mi photoook en una cuenta de facebook me hizo darme cuenta que vivimos en una sociedad del net .
2) Desde que año estas tomando fotos ?
Saori : Desde el 1984
3) Eres fotógrafa autodidacta o estudiaste fotografía ?
Saori : Por mi mismo. Yo tenía un amigo que era un fotógrafo y por el inicio , Él me enseñó mucho.
4) Quienes fueron tus influencias para dedicarte a la fotografía o que te motivo ?
Saori : Cuando empecé a tomar fotos, nunca hubo un momento en que estuve influenciado por una persona. Estaba haciendo cosas como el diseño de ropa en el momento y me sentí atraída por la moda más de la música de punk justo cuando se estaba volviendo muy popular en Japón. Compré una cámara porque quería documentarlo .
5) Tu solo tomabas fotografías o hacías las entrevistas también ?
Saori : Mi trabajo principal fue tomar fotos para sesiones de fotos. Pero entrevisté a TAIJI (B) de X JAPAN para un libro de X en el pasado. Cuando Fools mate tenía un programa de televisión, que entrevistó a algunos artistas. En lo que respecta a ser el que fuese entrevistado, fui entrevistada en el libro de Luna Sea como alguien que ha participado [en hacer el libro.].
6 )Antes de fotografiar a músicos tomabas otro tipo de fotografías ( animales , publicidad , ropa ) ?
Saori :
Sólo tomé fotos relacionadas con la música (así como agentes de voz) desde el principio. Yo era un diseñador de vestuario antes de tomar fotos después de todo, como he mencionado antes.
7) Cuál fue la primera banda que fotografiaste ?
Saori : Alien Sex fiend la primera vez que vino a Japón .
8) Cuál fue la sesión de fotos que mas disfrutas en hacer ?
Saori :
Ese efecto de tu favorita cara = la expresión de los artistas .
El disparo de cámara en el momento en el concierto donde la reacción es instantánea .
9) Cuál fue el artista con el cual tuviste dificultades a la hora de realizar tu trabajo ?
Saori : Ninguno .
10) Quienes eran tus bandas favoritas ?
Saori :X ( Actualmente X japan ) , Luna sea como otras pero si me preguntan por goleada ellos 2 .
11) Qué tipo de cámara ocupas y cual es tu favorita ?
Saori :En la era de las películas para conciertos la Minolta(135mm ) , en el estudio la Mamiya (6 × 7), yo uno actualmente una Camara Digital Nikon .
12) Qué diferencias encuentras en la escena musical actualmente si la comparamos con los 80’s ?
Saori : En los años 80, se sentía como si la gente estaba tratando de apuntar a su propio estilo individual (música, ropa y tal) que nunca fue visto antes. ¿Ahora? No lo sé. Realmente no estoy involucrado, así que no puedo explicarlo. Pero creo que «todo vale» y no hay diversión en eso.
13) Qué diferencias puedes notar actualmente en la fotografía de artistas actualmente en comparación con los pasados años ?
Saori : No he trabajado con fotografías de la escena actualmente .
14) Para qué Magazines estuviste trabajando y hasta que año ?
Saori :Fotografías de revista hasta el ultimo año , «333», «Motto2» .
15) Hoy en día sigues fotografiando en donde podemos apreciar tu trabajo ?
Saori : actualmente no tengo sesiones de fotos .
16) De donde surgió la idea de lanzar el photobook favorites ?
Saori :
Hide de X japan le propuso al jefe editor de la revista Fools mate una despliegue de mis aciertos fotográficos .
Los contenidos fueron mis favoritos artistas y las fotografías de los inicios .
17 ) Tienes más libros o archivos de tus trabajos aparte de Favorites ?
Saori :Favorites es el único mis otros trabajos están en photobooks de los artistas que fotografié .
18) A que te dedicas actualmente ?
Saori : Como yo no tengo cosas que dejar de hacer mientras viva , quiero crecer y hacer lo que quiera a partir de ahora .
19 ) Qué podrías contarnos de ti , hobbies , gustos musicales ?
Saori : Bauhaus seria un buen punto después de esto no hay nada mas .
20 ) planes para este 2016 ?
Saori :
Hago muchas tareas triviales, estamos en junio a mitad de año y esta básicamente listo .

Saori :

1) How do you feel Fujita san ,knowing a country such as Chile is interviewing you?
Fujita : The development of the information society is incredible thanks. From this way,many countries in the world can better understand many things.
2) Please describe yourself and include your musical influences as a youth along with,your favorite bands.
Fujita : I have a sister eight years older than me. I have a strong influence from her in my music and different cultures. She bring me to some live «Grand Funk Railroad» «New York Dolls» «Jeff Beck» many more These things can not be forgotten.
3) How was » Doom» formed and how did the members meet?
Fujita : I received contact from a friend of Morota, who was at Zadkiel, the band dissolved. That said, why not try to play with him? This causes as Doom was formed.
4)How did you come choose the band name and does it have a special meaning ?
Fujita : Because it was simple and easy to remember, Doom was chosen for the significance of the name .
5) Do you have memories with other Explosion Records bands like «Jurassic Jade» or «Shellshock» ?
Fujita :At the time the bands were higher in individual sensitivity. JURASSIC JADE, SHELLSHOCK, CASBAH, a lot of bands full of originality including existing UNITED.
6) How long were you with and when did you leave Explosion Records?
Fujita : Before Killing field we were working with them then came our contract with the major label. 7) What feelings did experience playing CBGB’s in a powerful thrash metal scene?
Fujita : We do not believe that us are a thrash metal band. I will not forget that we played at CBGB and Marquee in London. because those were our goals.
8) Were there other contributing factors other than the death of Koh Morota that brought the end of Doom»?
Fujita : DOOM is the construction of 3 members, so that when a person was away, a performance not to anything else. I think this is the fate of a band of 3 members. Because it is a small number of people in on guitar, bass and drums band, I think this is particularly funny.
9) What were your thoughts during the time Doom was separated and are you still in contact with the other members ?
Fujita : DOOM may not have been active but never separated. We always had contact with each other.
10) What can talk us about Quatergate ? Who’s are the members ? Label ? which’s were time activities ?
Fujita :Members are Baki from Gastunk and Doom. We launched a CD from 「Alzheimer」 independent label, we were active for two years.
11 ) What can talk us about Unit 3 ? Who’s are the members ? Label ? which’s were time activities ?
Fujita : This was active around 1980-82 or 83 before Doom initiate efforts. We do not leave the source of our sound. We were like Avant garde rock like The Stooges or Mc5
12)What were the years that were working with the band Mad Capsule market?
Fujita : I participated in the recording of the album 「PARK」 and guest in 「4 PLUGS」 I think the recording period was between 1994 to 1997 or 1998.
13) How did you become a member of the band of J (Luna Sea ), you’re still working with him ?
Fujita :
He respects me since he saw me in Mad Capsule Markets activities and SOFT BALLET.
I’m playing with him in the band 「Dessert Flame Frequency」.
14) How did you become a member of Blam honey? You get to play live with them?
Fujita : I was not a member of Blam Honey, I produced their album and rarely participate with them in their presentations.
15) you have good memories with blam honey? You hear about the death of Tatsuya ?
Fujita : There are a lot of memories during the production of the album and the time that share us . When Tatsuya died the Manager informed to us .
16) Do you know what blam honey is back again? have you contact again with Ryonai?
Fujita : I dont know about it . I haven`t contact with them.
17) Do you think what Doom has done something that no other band has done ? What do you think by Skull Smash band ?
Fujita : I do not think that I just want to play our favorite songs, leave my work and play gigs. It’s great that there is a tribute to Doom.
18) How was born the idea of the return of Doom? This was planned before or after Yoko fest?
Fujita : In these 5 or 6 years I had many opportunities to restart the band of Doom. After we stopped our activities and faced many of my friend’s band died that made me think slowly I should do what I do in life. And I decided I should do now.
19) Who are the actually members from doom?How do you feel knowing that one of your fan is the bassist from skull smash, do you see the spirit of morota inside him?
Fujita : We are FUJITA(Guitar/Vocal)、PAZZ(Drums)、Kodaira(Bass), we are not looking at Morota,we hope from moraida it spirit as a bassits .
20) What do you know about Chile or South America?, any band you like it?
Fujita : I know Sepultura.
21) About the new band generation ? Do you like any new band ?
Fujita : Every time I think about terms of musical trends over the 10 years I hear new bands, but I do not feel new creativity from them .
22) Plans for this 2015?
Fujita : For the remainder of this year finished filming in the summer, we plan to release a new album next year. In the autumn we will resume live activities.
